How DropNZ works
Who has Pokémon cards in stock across New Zealand, and how to hear first. A two-minute read.
The radar: free forever
The radar lists every sealed Pokémon TCG product the stores we watch have online, and which branches have it in stock. No sign-up. It runs 15 minutes behind; members see stock live.
Find what you are after
- Search for a product or a store, like "Prismatic ETB" or "Farmers".
- Type, Store and Region narrow the list. Region shows only the stores near you that publish branch stock.
- In stock is on to start with. Turn it off to see sold-out listings too.
- Language picks English or Japanese. Sort puts the newest listings, the most units or the cheapest first.
Read a product card
- In stock means the store says you can buy it. Low means only a few are left. Sold out is grey.
- Tap a card to open the product on the store's own website. You buy from the store. DropNZ never sells anything.
- Tap Store availability to see each branch that has it. Tap the pin next to a branch for directions.
Membership
Membership is NZ$6 a month, and free for a limited time. Members get:
- Live updates: the radar drops the 15-minute delay.
- A watchlist that follows you to every device.
- Instant email alerts when something you watch comes back in stock or drops in price.
- Instant Discord pings (see below).
- Tap Get membership and check out with Whop on the page. Checkout makes a Whop account if you don't have one.
- Log in to DropNZ with the same Whop account. There's no separate password, and you stay logged in for 30 days.
Tap your name at the top of any page for your membership page: email alerts, your watchlist, the Discord, and logging out.
Your watchlist
- Tap the bell on any product to watch it at every store. The watchlist comes with membership, so log in first.
- Only care about the stores near you? Tap Choose stores (or the bell again, or the store button in the Watchlist tab) and pick them, online included.
- Watched products live in the Watchlist tab: what's in stock at your stores first, with where, and the latest changes.
- You get an email when one comes into stock at a store you watch, and, if you like, when it sells out or drops in price. Choose on your membership page.
- With the radar open, a pop-up in the corner says when something you watch changes.
Instant Discord pings
- Join the DropNZ Discord.
- Pick your roles to choose what pings you: restocks, new listings, price drops, your region, your stores or a product type.
- Ping channels are for members: get membership (free for a limited time) and connect Discord in your Whop account so the server knows.
Pings go out the moment a check sees the change. The fastest stores are checked every minute.
Alerts while the radar is open
The Alerts button at the top of the radar plays a sound and shows a notification for each restock or new listing while the radar is open.
Good to know
- Stock is what each store's website says, checked every few minutes. A box can sell out between checks, and branch stock can lag the shelf. Check with the store before you drive there.
- If a store's check stops working, the Stores tab shows it in red, with the reason.
