About DropNZ

DropNZ ("we", "us") is an independent website at dropnz.live. It checks New Zealand stores' websites for Pokémon Trading Card Game products and shows what they report. We don't sell anything.

We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak or any store we list. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Agreeing to these terms

By using dropnz.live, our email alerts or the DropNZ Discord, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use DropNZ.

Stock information is not guaranteed

Everything we show comes from stores' own websites, checked automatically every few minutes. It can be late, incomplete or wrong. A product can sell out between checks, branch stock can lag the shelf, and prices can change.
Without membership, the radar shows stock as it was 15 minutes earlier.
Always check with the store before you buy or travel. We're not responsible for a purchase, a trip, a missed drop or any other decision you make based on DropNZ.
When you follow a link to a store, you're dealing with that store, on its terms and at its prices.

Membership

You don't need membership to browse the radar. Membership lets you see stock live, keep a watchlist, get instant email alerts and receive instant pings in the DropNZ Discord.
You join and log in with Whop (whop.com). Your Whop account is covered by Whop's own terms and privacy policy.
If you're under 16, check with a parent or guardian before you join.
Keep your login to yourself. Memberships are for one person each.
You can delete your DropNZ data at any time: log in on the radar and tap your name. Cancelling the membership itself is done on Whop.

Price

Browsing the radar is free, and will stay free, with stock shown 15 minutes behind.
Membership is a paid plan at NZ$6 a month, free for a limited time. We'll say so on the site and in the DropNZ Discord before charging starts.
You'll never be charged unless you choose to subscribe. Payments go through Whop.
We may change, add or remove features at any time.

Alerts

Email alerts and Discord pings are sent on a best-effort basis. They can be late, missed or sent in error, for example when a store blocks our checks.
You can turn email alerts off from your membership on the radar, or with the link in any alert email.

The DropNZ Discord

The Discord is covered by Discord's own terms and by the server's rules. Be respectful. We may remove anyone who spams, harasses others or misuses the server.

Fair use

You agree not to:

scrape, copy or republish DropNZ's data or alerts in bulk, or resell them, without our written permission
overload the site, probe it, or try to get around its security or limits
use DropNZ for anything unlawful

We can suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms.

Your information

We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect. When you log in, Whop gives us your Whop user ID, your name and, if Whop has verified it, your email address. We store your watchlist, your alert settings, and whether you've joined DropNZ on Whop.
Why. To run your membership, your watchlist and your alerts. Nothing else.
Cookies and storage. One cookie keeps you logged in, and another lasts ten minutes while you log in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies. The radar keeps your theme and settings in your own browser.
Who else handles it. Whop (membership and login), Resend (sending alert emails) and our hosting provider. They may store it outside New Zealand. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
Your choices. You can see and correct your information through Whop, and delete your DropNZ data, including your watchlist and alert settings, by logging in on the radar and tapping your name. For anything else, ask us in the Discord.

Liability

DropNZ is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that comes from using DropNZ, including relying on its stock information or alerts.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other New Zealand law that can't be excluded. If you use DropNZ for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site or in the Discord. Using DropNZ after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
